Tip of the Month: April

Clean Windows

The yearly ritual of spring cleaning fever hits us all as the snow melts and the weather turns warmer. What better way to take advantage of more abundant sunshine than having clean windows. By cleaning your windows, you’re allowing more daylight to enter your home or office, thereby reducing energy costs by providing more warmth and reducing the need for more artifical light. So let the sun shine in and get those windows cleaned with an easy green method:

Mix a solution of 3-to-1 white vinegar and water in an old spray bottle that you’ll be recycling for a better use. Then instead of using paper towels, which waste resources, use crumpled up newspapers to wipe clean. You’ll be amazed at how well this works.
