Hope everyone will get outside tomorrow for Earth Day and do something pro-active!! It's going to be beautiful here is the Hudson Valley - so you'll have no excuse.

I'm planning on going out an planting some tree saplings and maybe going out to buy a tree or two. Time to start getting the veggie garden ready - so there's weeding to do and fences to fix.

Over the weekend - try this green idea too:
If you have a light or two that you leave on in rooms that you're not in, just because you might have to go back in later - shut it off when you're not in the room and just turn it back on when you go back. You'll be surprised how much you have that habit - since it's human nature not to want to walk into a dark room. So break the "always on" habit!!
