Laura has nearly 15 years of experience helping companies differentiate their brands and services in competitive markets. In 2001, she established MarketPoint, LLC, a brand management firm that helps clients improve business results by identifying, integrating and managing customer-driven brand equities and strategies. Laura has executive level expertise driving marketing and communications initiatives in a wide number of industries—from technology to education, real estate development and professional services.

Before starting her own firm, Laura held senior marketing and strategic planning positions with Sylvan Learning Systems, Inc. and Prometric, a part of the Thomson Corporation. She has been responsible for managing lead generation, brand strategy, customer acquisition strategy, and public relations, as well as co-branded national and international promotional campaigns. In addition, she has led the marketing/communications integration efforts for five separate corporate acquisitions. She holds a degree from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and is active in professional organizations including the American Marketing Association and Executive Women’s Roundtable.
