Daughters of the American Revolution The Daughters of the American Revolution is a non-profit, women's organization for the descendants of individuals who aided in achieving American independence. Founded in 1890, it is dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children. The Welcome Packet provides an overview of important DAR information for new members. The last two pages of the packet provide detachable forms which can be mailed to Headquarters to place an order or request more information.
